Holiday had her puppies on monday night... I went to be early becuase Nicky and I had spent the day painting his bedroom(blood red walls and black ceiling). Mom found it important to wake me so that I could watch a dog shoot little dogs out of her twat... Now don't get me wrong... I'm happy that she had the puppies but I was fucking tired! So I dropped my math class today... I feel like such a loser now.. There were so many reason I dropped it, and I keep telling myself that but I still feel like a failure.. I started a new job that would only give me an hour between the class and work. The problem with that is there are these tests I have to take in the class once a week that last about 2-3 hours and I didn't have time to take them. So I was missing the tests and when I would go in to make them up I would have already forgotten the stuff the test was over causing me to fail. On top of that the professor was speeding through the work because the class was two days behind. So she wasn't taking the time needed to really show us how to do it. When we asked for her to show us she would say "find a tutor to show you."... Hello!? I don't have the money to get a private tutor to show me the stuff you are paid to show me! Gah!
On a high note my new iPod arrived today! It is the 30gb black iPod, I had the back engraved with (yes I am that much of a 69 Eyes fangirl!) "Helsinki Vampires" on the first line and "Absinthe69" on the second line. It looks awesome. I know you think I'm crazy, but I didn't come up with the Absinthe69 lol. A friend of mine started calling me that when she learned that I was deeply in lust with Jussi69 and the everyone in our group caught on to it lol. This is my first iPod so I'm going to have some fun figuring out how to use the damn thing lol.

So the 27th was the HIM concert. We got there an hour early and there was already a line about 50 people deep when we showed up. We had a blast talking to the different fans and giving away prizes to the kids with heartagram tattoos. When we finally got in there and stood around for another hour Skindred came out first.
There wasn't very many people in there since most of the kids were buying merch and getting their beer. Anyway, the crowd that was in there wasn't really getting into the music so the singer bitched out the crowd. I never laughed so hard in my life. "Do I have to go back to England and tell them Houston is shit!? Your here to see HIM? Well then piss off until they come out here!" That really got them going and worked up and they finished out their set on a good note.
By the time Finch took the stage the pit was pretty packed and the kids were really into it.... Now don't get me wrong, Skindred and Finch are both great bands but they are really hard to be opening for HIM. It was like watching Black Sabbath open for Celine Dion lol. Well the roadies were slow as hell between sets but they were throwing bottles of water out at the crowd so they didn't get too much flack for it.
FINALLY HIM came out and the whole crowd pushed towards the front even more than they already were. I was a little between center stage and the right side of the stage and about 6 to 8 people back. By the end of the concert I had been shoved right infront of Ville and was about the third person back from the front. Not that I'm complaining but holy hell did it hurt being smashed by several hundred sweaty kids lol. My ribs feel bruised and my left arms IS bruised. I usually stay out of the pit and hang out on the outskirts when I go to concerts but I figured this was special since this was their first show in Houston and my first HIM concert.
now the highlights... I kept screaming "Helsinki Rocks!" like a crazy fool whenever the crowd died down, Ville got a kick out of it and gave my a smile and wink. And yes I nearly shit myself lol. I got Burton's attention when he looked out at the crowd and he smiled at me as well. I think he was suprised someone was waving like mad at him and not paying attention to Ville lol. Ville kept grinning like a fool which was great, I think he was really surprised that the crowd knew ALL the songs and were singing right along with him. It was a really amazing show. I can't remember the set list but they played a good mix of the old stuff and the new album. I remember Vampire Heart, Sweet 666, Poison Girl, Right Here in my Arms, Under the Rose, Crimson Door, The Sacrament, Its all Tears, Wicked Game, Killing Loniness, Dark Light, and the encore was Poison Heart. Anyway all and all it was a really awesome show that I will never forget.
